Julie Bordeleau
Patient Coordinator (CEPPP)
Julie Bordeleau co-founded the International Program for Participatory Action Research at the Montreal Mental Health University Institute (MMHUI) research centre. Julie coached people with mental health issues to develop their socio-professional skills and life projects. She has worked in the field of health research for more than a dozen years and since 2011, involving patient partners. She coordinated the involvement of patient partners at the MMHUI and CIUSSS of the East-Island-of-Montreal via clinical, administrative, research and teaching activities, to contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality of care and services delivered. She participated in the implementation of the Recovery University concept. Through her personal and professional experience in care and services, Julie is now a project leader with CEPPP and currently has a mandate to collaborate on the implementation of the patient partnership culture within the Institut national d’excellence en santé et en services sociaux (INESSS).
