{"id":10473,"date":"2021-07-05T17:55:52","date_gmt":"2021-07-05T21:55:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/virtua-development.ca\/new-ceppp\/uncategorized\/canadian-institutes-of-health-research-evaluation-framework\/"},"modified":"2021-07-19T13:30:31","modified_gmt":"2021-07-19T17:30:31","slug":"canadian-institutes-of-health-research-evaluation-framework","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ceppp.ca\/en\/collaborations-en\/canadian-institutes-of-health-research-evaluation-framework\/","title":{"rendered":"Canadian Institutes of Health Research Evaluation Framework"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main objective of this project is to develop a national adaptable framework for the evaluation of patient and public engagement (PPE) in research. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This project have two complementary goals: <br\/><br\/>1) Building consensus within the Canadian community on the core evaluation criteria, process indicators and impacts indicators of PPE in research; and <br\/>2) Develop guidelines to implement the evaluation framework and adapt it to different contexts. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During this one-year project, a national coalition of patient-oriented research leaders, including representatives from patient-oriented research support organizations, patient partners, engagement experts, and health system leaders, we will aim to develop a national yet adaptable framework for the evaluation of patient engagement in research in Canada, including:<br\/><br\/>1) a logic model (national consensus meeting) <br\/>2) a set of core evaluation indicators (Delphi process) and <br\/>3) recommendations on best practices and approaches for evaluation with seldom-heard populations (co-led expert working groups on equity). <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The idea is to offer enough supporting theory and guidance for research organizations and partners to build their own evaluation in a way that: <br\/><br\/>1) aligns with principles of patient-oriented research; <br\/>2) is adaptable to specific contexts of patient and public engagement (settings, populations, type of research, domain of research, etc.), and <br\/>3) allows for mutual learning and understanding across projects and organizations by defining core evaluation standards applicable across Canada.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The main objective of this project is to develop a national adaptable framework for the evaluation of patient and public engagement (PPE) in research. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":10471,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[104,107],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-10473","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-collaborations-en","category-flagship-projects"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/ceppp.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/10473","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/ceppp.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/ceppp.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ceppp.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ceppp.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=10473"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/ceppp.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/10473\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ceppp.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/10471"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/ceppp.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=10473"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ceppp.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=10473"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ceppp.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=10473"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
