The website is organised into the following sections: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An introduction to science, research, patient-oriented research, and participatory research; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An introduction to research ethics; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An introduction to literature reviews; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An explanation of quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods research; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An introduction to evidence synthesis and dissemination. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This website was developed with and for patient partners, and underwent multiple rounds of user-centered evaluation. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.understandingresearch.ca\/\">Understanding Research<\/a> is valuable in the context of patient partnerships and patient-oriented research; it can also contribute to the public&#8217;s understanding and trust in science. This website is a collaboration between the <a href=\"https:\/\/ssaquebec.ca\/en\/\">Unit\u00e9 de Soutien SSA Qu\u00e9bec<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/ceppp.ca\/en\/\">Centre of Excellence on Partnership with Patients and the Public<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/cpn.mcmaster.ca\/\">Chronic Pain Network<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A website created to demystify research and provides resources such as video tutorials, a glossary of research terms, and a guide for reading research articles.
