In 2016, Canadian Venous Thromboembolism Clinical Trials and Outcomes Research (CanVECTOR) Network launched a patient partnership strategy in the long-term aim of improving patients’ experience with the disease. In this context, the CEPPP is working with CanVECTOR to reinforce its existing culture of patient partnership by supporting the network in the design, implementation, and evaluation of their patient engagement (PE) strategy.

To carry out CanVECTOR’s strategy, the CEPPP is also supporting the network’s research teams in the recruitment of patient partners, as well as in the training and coaching of patients, researchers, and clinicians involved in health research.
