Myriam Fournier-Tombs

Director of Partnerships and Development

Brief info

Myriam Fournier-Tombs holds a Master’s degree in Health Leadership and Management (IMHL) from McGill University, where she studied under Dr. Henry Mintzberg. Trained as an osteopath and a graduate of the Collège Ostéopathique Européen, she practiced for nearly ten years as a clinician specializing in women’s health. Her professional journey has led her to focus on health systems transformation, health democracy - particularly through patient partnership - and the improvement of access to primary care and services. Myriam joined the CEPPP team in 2018 and has since led several major initiatives aimed at strengthening and consolidating the patient partnership movement in Québec. She is also involved in projects focused on advancing health equity. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Global Health at the University of Geneva, where her research explores the influence of sociopolitical environments on health engagement with precarious status migrants.
